Brilliant article! I have always been shocked at how easy and often English speakers use the word "race". In both French and Spanish the meaning is different and the word isn't used lightly. So, as a non-native speaker, it doesn't even make sense to me to use it on human beings. Especially since it is hard for me to label myself in one of the "races".
